Welcome to my ING NYC Marathon blog
Those of you that know me know that I picked up running about a year ago, and have run several races, marathons, half marathons, and 10k's. Last november I decided on a whim to enter the lottery to run the ING NYC Marathon, one of the largest most celebrated races in the world. On April 27 my name was selected out of hundreds of thousands to enter the marathon. To make things a little more challenging, I decided to run with a team from the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, and pledged to raise several thousand dollars to help those who are dying from multiple myeloma.
